DR-963 is an aqueous, 49-51% solids, solvent free,APEO free, anionic rosin ester dispersion. It is recommended as a tackifier for acrylic latex polymers used in label, tape, and construction applications. As a modifier for acrylic latexes in pressure sensitive adhesive applications,it enhances specific adhesion to polyolefin substrates and recycled corrugated board. It promotes high peel and tack in waterborne PSAs and provides broad utility as a general purpose acrylic PSA tackifier.
Key Attributes:
APEO free

Compatibility and Solubility:
Compatible with acrylic, vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE), polyvinyl acetate, styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), polychloroprene (neoprene) and natural rubber latexes. When mixed with cationic substances, this dispersion may precipitate. When strongly alkaline or acidic additives are added to the dispersion, gross localized pH-variations should be avoided, as these can lead to destabilization and grit formation.
Packaging :
In IBC drum of 1000kgs net each,20mts(20drums)per 20'GP.
In plastic drum of 200kgs net each.
Storage:
The useful life of this product can be affected by storage and handling conditions. This dispersion will remain within product specification limits, for a period of at least six months after shipment from production facilities, provided that storage conditions are observed. The recommended storage temperature range is 5-35ºC. This resin dispersion may be irreparably damaged if frozen. Accordingly, all shipments in cold climate areas are made in insulated or heated carriers. It is recommended that strict control of inventory be observed at all times, taking care that the oldest material is used first.
Shelf Life :
6 months
